우리는 노래방을 갔다.

짠~
Last night, I had the chance to indulge more in my fandom.  My friends and I went to a noraebang!  We made our way to The Hill's K11 Box after having our steamboat dinner.  The fee was a little pricey since we went for the night session in a weekend.  We went on with it anyway.  We were led to one of the rooms by the staff.  Just as we were barely sitting down on the couches, we were generously asked to change to a different room - the VIP room!  Woot woot~  There were quite a wholesome number of songs available, in terms of the range of singers and genres.  Of course, I was mainly intrigued by one obvious genre - K-pop (like duh!).  There were eight of us, so we took turns to select and sing the songs of our choice.  Oh, each of us was entitled to get two drinks out of the ones they had in the menu.  It was part of the package.  I had iced lemon tea and Ribena (blackcurrant).

The songs that I sang were 'Ugly' (2ne1), '0330' (U-Kiss), 'More than Words' (Westlife), 'Shock' (BEAST), 'I'll be Back' (2PM), '내 여자친구를 부탁해(Say No)' (Take Care of My Girlfriend (Say No)) (BEAST), and 'Love Song' (Big Bang).

Tina sang this song with Vic.

I have something funny to tell.  Before any of us even started to sing our first song, the string of one of the flip-flops that I was wearing decided to snap out of the blue.  =.='  So, I went barefoot throughout the night (and morning).  My wise friends then called me Cinderella.

Since we're on the unsuspecting event topic...a few days back, as I was writing down notes during a lecture, my pants' button got off its stitches all of a sudden.  All of a sudden!!  Luckily, I was wearing a long enough top that day.

Movie with Family

we impulsively decided to go out and watch a movie at the cinema in the evening. well, almost impulsively. it was originally planned to be on this Sunday, but apparently, we brought it forward. i had Nightmare on Elm Street in mind. but i had second thoughts when i remembered that my 6-year-old cousin was going to follow too. and guess what, it turned out that the cinema really cares about movie ratings. so, 18SG movies are only for 18-year-old's and above. they don't provide tickets for those under that age. so, even my youngest sister can't watch it. wait, also my other younger sister...techniquely.

so, while waiting for the others to arrive ("the others" consisted of my 2 uncles, my aunt, my grandma, and my little cousin.), we went to check for the showtimes and ticket pricing. THAT was when we found out about the movie rating thingy. i personally think that it's a good thing, though. Film Censorship Board exists for a reason. also, i don't really mind if some movies are rated for certain age groups only since i'm no longer a minor. :p so, when the rest finally arrived and joined us 5 ("us 5" would include my dad, my mom, my 2 sisters, and me.), we tried to decide which movie to watch.

in the end, we watched.....

it's about a mix-bred dog who often feels like an outcast, just like a teenage boy, who tries to fit in when the family moves to a new place (Orange County, California).

i couldn't use my membership card to purchase the tickets. apparently, the amount limit per purchase (per day, i think) is 6 tickets max. so, we couldn't get the RM1 discount per ticket. uh...whatev~

the movie was fun. a good family comedy. it was just that it was chilling in the theater and i felt a little sleepy towards the end. not forgetting, hungry. we hadn't had our dinner. :(

our other considerations were:

i really wanted to watch this one. just to see of it's as good as the other versions. even my mom wanted to watch this. though...i think it may be the same as the other one i watched. it was about Freddy, the unhappy murdered victim that haunts the sons/ daughters of his murderers in their sleep.

my uncle reviewed that this isn't a good movie. so i cancelled every intention of wanting to watch it.
