Comeback

Hello!

How's everything so far?
I bet a lot has been going on since the last time I got in touch here.

Sorry I've been missing in action for some time, considering that I've always enjoyed writing and blogging, but I couldn't blog no matter how much I wanted to due to an outer space mission, believe it or not.
Well, now I'm back!
As a comeback gift, here's a photo of me with my space mission colleague.

Okay.
In case you haven't figured it out, I was kidding on the "outer space mission" part.
This photo was taken during my visit to JAXA, Japan with my faculty-mates last December.

But the part about my comeback (here, blogging) is true.

Forever Young

~ .. ~ .. ~ .. ~

"Let no one despise you for your youth,
but set the believers an example
in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
(1 Timothy 4:12)

~ .. ~ .. ~ .. ~

A few weeks ago, I turned another year older.

You know how friends or family members sometimes playfully tease you on your birthday, just to highlight the fact that you're getting OLDer?  That's normal and there's no harm intended in the teasing.  ^^

I face this too.  In addition to that, I also face something almost in contrary to this matter.  *Ironic, ironic*  Those who aren't aware of my actual age, as well as those who already know me well, mostly do not believe me when I 'declare' how old I currently am.  From my past experiences so far, a lot of them usually guessed that I should be about 3, 4, or 5 years younger than my real age.  *Hey, they said so, okay. :3*

It's probably because of the combination of my petite figure, erm...babyface(?) look, and sometimes child-like personality.  LOL~  I don't  know...that's just my wild guess.

Anyway...
My point is, regardless of how we appear to look like, be it younger than our age or more matured than our age, it's sometimes out of our control.  Make-up, hairstyle, and fashion style can change that but they are all temporary.  You are who you are.  Remember that what's more important is what you have to offer, coming from within you - hardwork, sincerity, kindness, passion, etc.

So, be grateful of however you may look like (as long as it's presentable enough for specific occasions).  Focus more on your inner values.  Chewah~

Coming Up Next: "Back in ___" Catch Up Posts

Hello.. hello!  How have you been doing?

This is a little shameful but my last blog post was in September last year!  That's like four months ago!!  I've always loved to write and compose.  That's why I decided to start blogging in the first place.  Now, I still enjoy writing BUT time (or lack of it) has been a challenge, followed by post-daily-tasks energy (or lack of it, also).  As a result, I didn't even bother to log on to Blogger and write something witty.  Or lame.  But I'm back now!

So, I've decided to write a number of catch up posts on what I had been involved in since I last wrote my September 2012 blog post.  I hope I can recall as many events in as much details as possible.  Be ready, bebeh!

On a side note, I've embedded a new music player on my blog page.  I used an audio player called Billy.  If you want to put Billy the audio player on your blog page too, you can assign up to five songs.  You'll be needing the mp3 URLs of the songs, which you need to upload on any file hosting site first.  Of course, there are a number of sites that already provide some mp3 songs with URLs.  If you see what you like, grab it.  In my player, I've included four songs altogether from (of course) BEAST and BTOB.  Hehehe...  The songs are 'My Girl' by BTOB, 'Beautiful' by BEAST, 'I Stole Those Lips (Irresistible Lips)' by BTOB, and 'When I Miss You' by BEAST.  Those songs are among my favourite songs by the two K-pop groups.  I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I do.

Okay, see 'ya in the next post!

Smell is the 4th Dimension

when you purchase a ticket to a 4-dimensional movie, you won't only be given a pair of 3D glasses as you enter the movie theater, but also a card. an aroma-scope card, to be exact.

the card (front and back)

during the course of the movie, a number will be flashed on the screen when it's time for the audience to smell what's in the movie. you just have to scratch the number on the card and smell it. it can get pretty challenging at first because of the dark surrounding but you'll get used to it.

my thoughts?~
well...it's not very convenient especially when you want to focus on the screen. but then again, maybe it's because i'm not very familiar with it yet. it's a good effort to allow movie-goers to be more into the movie by making use of their sense of smell as well.

went to watch 'Spy Kids 4 (4D)' with my sisters

Dreamed of you last night..

i'll see you again.

p/s: sorry for my broken Korean. still learning. ;)

Feverish Yesterday

heyyy....how's everybody doing? everything's cool, right?

i had a fever last night. but only for that night till early in the morning.

here's the story...
i started feeling light-headed yesterday afternoon. nang pusing2 eh palak. so, i took a nap. after that nap, i felt a little better but the headache was still there, not completely gone. i watched BEAST's 'Genesis of B2ST' DVD & Westlife's 'The Karaoke Collection' DVD to keep myself occupied in the evening. gosh i love those groups! oh, i also watched the trailer of 'Paranormal Activity 3' with my sisters & cousin. just the trailer, but i was too much of a chicken to watch it alone. haha.. can't wait for the movie to come out here, though. mok ikut nanga sik? ju la...skali skala menakutkan diri. dui...dah out of topic aih.

i watched Hell's Kitchen, DC Cupcakes 2, & Masterchef Australia Masterclass on TV. wait...now i realise that they're all food-related reality shows! dah la senang lapar malam2. hehe.. as midnight came along, i started to feel weak & uncomfortable. i had a glass of warm water (& toasts & red bean bun) & rested at the couch while continuing to watch TV. serius..! i wasn't feeling well. so, i turned off everything downstairs & went upstairs to my room. oh, everyone else at home was already asleep hours earlier. i laid down for about an hour but couldn't sleep. i was feeling uneasy. so, i went downstairs to get some Panadol. i eventually fell asleep. when i woke up today, i felt better. :)

take care, people! & don't take up medicine unless necessary. or else, it won't work when you really need it.

They're Not Just Customers, They're Guests

hello, i'm Priscilla.

i'm halfway through my university's inter-session break. i have about 2 months left till the time comes when i need to start attending classes again.

so.....it's now my third week working. ^-^ coming to think of it, it has been quite challenging yet interesting. it's my first time ever to work in my life & it's a job that revolves around customer service. just the idea of needing to perform a task for a job can be a little intimidating for me, especially since i have Z-E-R-O experience or formal knowledge in what i'm currently required to do. sometimes, i can't help but to care about what people have to say about my actions & capabilities. i don't like being bad at anything. who does, right? right?? at the same time, i keep in mind that people can think however they want & their perceptions aren't necessarily the utmost truth. so, it's all good. :D however, being the AB-blood type that i am, i tend to have alternating mood from day to day, or week to week, or so on. i can be happy-go-cutie :p one moment, then the next day, i can be fairly uptight & jumpy. it's kind of random. but it's normal, no worries. ^^v working on it, though. trying to be a better person each day. :)

for my friends (or relatives) who are wondering, i'm working part time at Hilton Kuching's Waterfront Cafe as a waitress. honestly, i felt like a bidan terjun, if you know what i mean. LOL.. on-the-job training was given during my first week. in fact, it's ongoing even till this day. of course, right? duh... :D we shall provide "Hilton experience" to the guests. oh BTW, the meaning behind "Hilton" is Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, & New. (erm...to dear workmates who are reading this, IF i got any of those wrong, please disregard it & tell no one. OK? i'm trying hard to remember what Abg Nabi taught us on the first day. but then, i can be forgetful. i might heard it wrong too. sorry~ maaf~ mianhamnida~ sumimasen~)

morning shift (0700 - 1630)

afternoon shift (1400 - 2330)

love you all...see 'ya!

Told 'ya! Told myself!

it has been a while, dear blog.

i'm really not good at keeping a blog alive & updated. even when writing a journal/diary, i'll manage to do that only for a week, top. i'm just so occupied with other things. sorry about that. but i'll keep this blog, still.

Yo~~~~

i have another blog now. it's a Korean blog. i set it up to help me learn & improve my Korean language. yes...i'm also learning Korean language. but my level is not up to my Japanese language level yet. even my Japanese language still needs LOTS of improvement. i'm taking my sweet time self-learning the languages 'cos i'm pretty occupied with so many things, being a student, a fangirl, & just me. that's another reason why this Blogger page of mine got abandoned for a few months. so...my new blog is here. check it out! but it's mainly in hangul writing. like i stated, i'm learning the language. since the new blog is Korean-base, i'll still keep this blog. after all, i am more comfortable & confident in using English language, & some of the things i want to blog about might be better elaborated in English. you know what? maybe i should make an Ameblo account too. it's a Japanese language blogging & social networking site. yea..i'll try to do that someday. :D

K の 嵐 2010 (International Fans Project)

click on the image for the whole view.

so, above is the logo for this project. there are a few options and we can even come up with our own, but i think i'll go with this one. nice, isn't it? so, please spread this news!

more details about this project can be found in this LJ post. just read through, prepare your postcard(s), include the introductory context given, also include the logo, then send it to one of the provided addresses.

the postcard should reach Tokyo in the week of 12-18 of September 2010. the exact date for Arashi's debut anniversary is 15th of September, by the way. 2010 is their 11th year! \(^o^)/

so, i've made the draft of what i'm going to write on my postcard. it's in Japanese writing, so i'll include the English translation so that readers who can't read Japanese kanji and kana can understand. the translation is exclusive for this post only. :)

####################

K (国際 ファン の プロジェクト) の 嵐:

もし 私たち が ハガキ を 送ったら, 嵐 は 世界 中 に ファン が いる こと に 気づ いてくれる でしう か.

translation:

K no Arashi (International Fans Project):

will Arashi notice that they have fans all over the world if we send them postcards? [--- this is the introductory context that needs to be included by everyone for this project.]

[then, a prediction on the result of this experiment (project) should be written too. ---] as long as there's happiness in your heart, then it's great. plus, Arashi's fans are the best. aren't they? therefore,
K no Arashi is a SUCCESS!

"there are five of us. always will be." i believe in those words. thank you. the whole world loves Arashi. Johnny-san, the manager, and the staff have been working hard too. thank you, really! go go everyone!

gome...gome...gomen ne! sorry!

hontou ni gomen nasai! ah...i hate posting apologies due to my own neglect. stupid busy-ness! >.<

well, we'll see if i'll be able to keep up with all these online sites and communities again. i will, though, from time to time. it's just that i can't tell how exactly-up-to-date my sites will be.

anyway...here are where u can find me up to this day:

- for personal happenings and chantings. don't want to mix it with my raging fandom. that will be in my livejournal.
- i joined this because i wanted to join sho's birthday trend party on twitter. :D curious to know how it would be like.
- here u'll find the fangirlistic side of me. TOTAL fandom-related. so, go to this site only if u know u'r ready for it.
- i forgot why i joined this crunchyroll. since i already have other blogs, i just created this account to be able to comment on posts and discussions about dramas and idols.
- this one...i've pretty much "abandoned". but if u send me messages or comments through it, i'll still read and maybe reply 'cos i'll receive them in my e-mail.
- in tagged, i pretty much just accept people's friend request and occasionally respond to their messages and comments. (i don't really know most of them.)
- another one like tagged.
- i also enjoy video streaming. i only upload several videos that i find necessary to upload 'cos uploading them can take AGES. ><
- here, u can download songs that i've uploaded. still in the process of uploading more.

now, i'm going to copy and paste this post to all my other accounts. :)

lol from me! (p/s: lol=lots of love)

A Few Days Break

Yatta! I just got back from my last class for this week. The next class will be on the coming Monday. Now I can breathe more peacefully. Just a few no-class days. But there will still be a blood bank seminar next week. I tell you this...our group is going to ROCK IT!!! The proper way, of course. Dakara...ganbaru yo ne, minna! Yosh!

Sent Reb to the airport just now. The 2 PM class was like a party-pooper. Last minute change. Anyway..way over now. Need a little nap. Then my notes need to be re-organised. Exam is coming again.

Stop Disconnecting, Please..

Back from Blood Bank visit this morning. Man, it was hot! It's a rare chance for us not to have class at any day, especially at the middle of the week. It's clinical session this time, so groups are scheduled for visits at different days and times. Ours is done! Now, need to gather info for seminar presentation. Our PBL group's topic is Cord Blood Bank. So, PBL-mates, ganbate kudasai! I haven't searched for materials to know what it is all about but it has something to do with blood transfusion during delivery. Or something...? Oh well...we'll see. And I mustn't forget to do lab reports on the previous practical sessions that we've done. To tell you the truth, I never like doing lab reports. There were times that I didn't hate doing it but I never like it. Huhu...

I'm a little irritated right now by the internet connection. I've been downloading some albums and singles but for these couple of days, it hasn't been successful. Connection timeout...connection reset...bla bla bla. Sabar, Pris. Rilek. I'll get it done someday.

BTW, my blood group's AB Rh (+). ;) Same as Aiba-san's, right?

And remember, blood is precious. Every drop counts and please feel free to donate your blood. It's a very noble thing to do. "1 donation can save 3 lives."

Ja...mata ne!

Blood and Immunology Block Quiz Today

The quiz ended at around 9.40 A.M. just now. Phew...what a relief now that it's over. It turned out to be not that hard. Quite easy, in fact. But history has taught me that easy questions might still lead to frustration if you hope too high. So, let's just humbly hope everyone did OK and will get what we all deserve. It's time to focus on preparing for EOB 3 Exam which will be held in early January. So, Christmas and New Year week will actually be our study week. What a perfect New Year gift, huh? ^0^

So...now I have quite a number of things I need to settle. I must finish watching the dramas that I haven't watched till the end. OK..maybe I'll try to. No promises! Must complete downloading Arashi's albums and singles. (Yay! This is so exciting!) Then, maybe I'll consider downloading albums by other groups or singers. Oh yeah..I must return back the Koizora DVD that I borrowed from Ku and the Gamelan music CD that belongs to Azhar. Those discs have been in my bag all this while but I often forgot to give them back. Gome..gome! Speaking of discs...I still haven't got my missing DVDs back. :( I'm still hoping to get them back someday. Hopefully, soon. And of course, studying for exam is like a duh-do-I-have-to-remind-about-that. xD

And yes!!! Christmas will be here soon! Don't forget Aiba-san's birthday on Christmas eve.

I kind of miss shopping for accessories and other stuff. Ah...student life..medic student life.

Dinner with Friends and Girls' Day Out

Today's Jon's 20th birthday!! So he's also 20 now. :) Last night, Jon, Cal, Chien, Reb, Vel, Ling, and I dined out at Vogue. Nice place and classy food. I'd show the pictures here but I haven't got the pictures from my friends yet.

Today, after our half-day clinical class, we decided to go to the cinema to watch Ninja Assassin. And by "we", I meant Chien, Reb, Vel, and I. It was a pretty good movie. Lots of intense violent-like scenes but in the way they should be. Besides, Korean pop sensation, Rain, is in it. After the movie, we went to buy a birthday cake for Jon. Then, we shopped for his present. After that, we surprised Jon at his rented house. Danial was there too. The cake was yummy.

So, that was about it. A good day today. Ehh~ tomorrow's class and practical..huhu... Then, there will be a quiz next week. So.....let's just keep going! Yah!! Ganbarimasu!

We watched this movie. It was great (though a little scary)!

In Case I'll Forget What I Was Up To Last Month

- went to the bookstore a few times (Note: Bought at least 2 different comics at one time.)

- bought one or two JDrama DVDs (Note: As expected, I haven't watched them till finish yet.)

- watched Arashi's videos, listened to Arashi's songs, saved Arashi's pictures, downloaded Arashi's stuff excessively (Note: I couldn't stop...for real! xD)

- joined Sho-Beat and Jun Online (Note: It has always been my responsibility to keep promoting them and participate in things related.)

- overslept (Note: Oh yeah! For some reason, I felt sleepy really easily. Was it because of the coffee that was actually a milder one than the one I was used to?)

- seemed to be ignorant of an individual (Note: One, blame it on my sleepiness. Two, I got a little tired of the same old story. Three, whatever...) Gomen, ne... :(

- Riida's 29th birthday (Note: Referring to Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.)

- trimmed my hair (Note: Finally!! I hate split-ends!)

- got my exam results (Note: Good thing I passed. To improve is a must.)

A snapshot from years back..

Since Their Albums and Singles are not Sold Here...

This is great...really. Not in a sarcastic way but truly it is great. I've got this link to Japanese Music Dream site from shobeat.webs.com. There, I can download Arashi's albums and singles. It may take some time but it's working. Here...

Oh ya...I have a rehearsal this evening for a friend's baptism at St. Peter's. The actual ceremony will be held during tomorrow's sunset mass.
