Sleepiness Go Away..

Exam is right outside my gate. Not exactly outside my door or around the corner yet 'cos I still have a few days. So..I'm planning to stay awake for as long as I can. I know that sleep is important but I'll sleep when I'll sleep, ok. So I've been thinking of ways to keep myself awake long enough.

Nah..ni dia (from own experience n others'):

1. Drink plenty of plain water. (Note..plain water, not other drinks. But I drink coffee too. Just don't get caffeine overdose, ok.)

2. Eat some snack. Better snack containing high glucose for energy. Plus, eating does make you feel good sometimes.

3. Listen to music while taking breaks. Sing or dance along to what you're listening to. Breaks should be short but frequent (for me).

4. Do some light exercises. This one, my mom suggested. She said..jump a little and stretch. Then, continue to read.

5. Take a short cold shower. Hohoh...you'll be refreshed for sure.

6. If you're really really sleepy, then take a nap. Maybe for 15-30 minutes. The important thing is to make sure that you'll wake up later. Alarm clocks, roommates, friends, mom...anything that can wake you up.

7. Study far far far away from your bed. Change your position and location every now and then when you need to. It's just like avoiding from getting too comfortable with where you are when studying.

Well..good luck studying!

And really..wish me luck too! Tc...

Really Blue Monday Blue :(

It's raining..not heavily, but just right to bring the mood down. Been listening to Before the Storm several times (cun2 bh hujan jg ni. but no storm la so far.). If things were all okay with me right now, the song would merely be a song I love to listen to. But it's more than just that. It's a really good song, by the way, isn't it? It's Independence Day today but things are so different from my view here. Something doesn't feel so exciting as it used to be. Man, how I miss those older days.. :'( Why did they have to pass by so fast? Yes, I do feel kind of lonely right now especially 'cos my friends aren't around. Thinking about them can make me smile or giggle, though. xD Such 'kids'.

I forgot how hard it is to forget something you need to forget (might not be what you want to forget). Memory...why does it have to be so efficient at times like this? The timing isn't right. Keeping myself busy with other things doesn't work so well anymore. I need more distractions. But thank God for reminding me to keep on going. At least to get through the days..the cold days.

Right now, only "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times" is here to console me. Love its company. :)

It's true when they (JB) say "There's a lot that you don't notice when you read between the lines". Even more sadly, some don't even read between the lines.

Fav Songs that Tell Relatable Stories

I'm Already There (Westlife)

The story:
This is about a dad/ husband who's far from his family for the moment, obviously due to work. From his hotel room, he calls home to know how the others are doing. It's about missing home. :'( Beautiful song. Love Westlife always...

-----

Just Friends (Jonas Brothers)

The story:
This one tells a story about a friendship between this guy and a girl friend of his. A typical friends-since-schooltime story. At first they were just friends who hung out and chill together. But then, the guy started to develop a feeling of fondness towards the girl. "I don't wanna lead you on, but the truth is I've grown fond.." Like duh..right. :) Still, because their friendship is so precious to him, he just played it cool. He knew that what's meant to be is meant to be no matter what. It's really cute! The cutest part (to me) is the last verse. They walked down the aisle!!! ^o^

-----

That Girl (McFly)

The story:
So, it started with a guys' day out. It's a random thing, where this guy saw this girl who caught his eye. A total stranger..but out of playfulness, he just approached the girl to chit chat. So, they hung out and had fun. Then this one day, the poor guy found out that the girl was two-timing him (Well, that's what you get when you fall for a complete stranger, dear. Now you know.). So, that became a chapter of the story of his life. But the best part about this song is..they're so so so good with the music!!! Especially Danny with the guitar solo in the middle of the song. Woah...kan??

-----

White Horse (Taylor Swift)

The story:
It's actually a phone call from the guy to the girl. They'd been in a cold situation lately, so, he calls her to reconcile with her. The guy sort of blew it for them. Then she realised that maybe it would be better to just let go. So, she's trying to explain what she really thinks of through the phone call. In the real music video, their conversation goes something like...

Guy: Do you love me?
Girl: Yes..
Guy: Will you give me another chance?
Girl (at the end of the song): ...No... (hung up)

This one's really a calm break-up song (for the girl). Enjoy it!

Get Ready, Get Set, Don't Go (Miley Cyrus feat. Billy Ray Cyrus)

The story:
This song tells the story of a daughter leaving home to pursue her dreams somewhere else. Just like us, going to college, off to work...being apart from our parents. So...as she has finished packing and loading her stuff, she asks for her dad's blessings before she leaves..huhu... And the dad willingly gives her his best wishes but unwillingly lets her go. She's still daddy's little girl to him. Then, the daughter reassures her dad that she'll be fine even on her own. Whether they like it or not, they have to say goodbye. So, remember girls...your daddy loves you! ;)

-----

I Think We're Alone Now (The Click Five)

The story:
It's about these 2 young lovers who try to get away from everyone else so that no one can tell them this or that...and they successfully ran away. So they ran and ran and ran... You can just imagine the plot. Purely adorable. Actually I put this song in 'cos I just love the band. :D And this song has been sung in many other versions.

-----

Before the Storm (Nick Jonas feat. Miley Cyrus)

The story:
Love this song!!! So, the scene is when it's raining. The 2 soon-to-be-exes are trying to confirm how things really are between them. There are 2 sides..the girl, who's ready to just let go but wants to make sure the guy will be alright...and the guy, who really doesn't want to let it be over but realises that he has to swallow the hard cold reality. As the title suggests, it's like a storm, that happens without being planned, and once it occurs, it'll leave an impact. Sad, huh...poor them..but I'm sure they'll be fine.

-----

Well..that's about it for now. Those songs mentioned above are among my favourites. I know that there are many other songs that tell great stories. So, please feel free to share them. Music makes this life lively, doesn't it?

Chao!

Sorry for Anything (and Thank You for Everything)

Well...I'd just like to clear my conscience before I sleep for now. (Plus, exam is coming, so I don't really want any grudge or dissatisfaction from any of you. xD) So, here are some of the things I realise I've been doing, or I've failed to do right. Rest assured, dear all..I know it when I've done something annoying or hurtful (in case).

Okay... So, take note of the part concerning you only. The other parts might confuse you.

To mommy and daddy,
I think I know why the bills are quite high these days. ^o^ I've been staying up at nights (every night, in fact). My laptop is on as long as I'm home, the TV's on as the background sound when I'm studying in the living room, the water in the shower is used abundantly (You know how long I can take to shower), the lights are on when everyone else is sleeping ('cos I haven't slept at those times). The list can just continue. And you know very well that I'm like a pro at spending (my own or your money). Thanks for all the things you've bought for me. Love them! All those sandals, dresses, blouses, accessories, bags, CDs, books.. I do feel like a spoilt princess sometimes..haha...but it's so hard not to be one when you're so nice to say yes to my requests. On my defense, you did say no several times and I had to accept those no-moments (while sulking).

To my sis',
Hmm...I'm not sure if I should be sorry for nagging and giving orders to you girls all this while. It's how it's supposed to be, isn't it? Hehe...kidding. So, I'm sorry if I've used my 'power' too much on you girls. Can't help it sometimes. Well, thank you for following what I've been telling you. Some of them are good advice, you know.

To my Lot77 housemates,
I'm sorry if I've been a pain in the neck as your housemate, though I hope not. It's really an honour to have you girls around. Sorry for the meetings I've missed, sorry for the tasks i haven't done well. It seems that I'm lacking in terms of commitment lately. I have my reasons, actually. But I still intend to do what I can for the sake of our apartment and those living in it. Oh ya..sorry for suddenly laughing or giggling at nights, in case you could hear me (especially my roommie). I'm just so easily amused with anything sometimes.

To my 2009 batch classmates,
I haven't known you guys for a long time yet but you guys are part of my life now (cewah..) and are more than just my acquaintances. There's something funny about how we got to know each other. I could see that some of you guys were confused..."Who's this girl, really?".."How come I've never seen her before? (sb dh biasa d cni kn. jd lain jg la cara sy 1st2 compared to kmuorg.)" etc. It really felt like I was living a double life..a double identity or something. Still do, I think. So..sorry about any confusion caused..haha... Thank you for the laughter you've made me have (intentionally or unintentionally) due to your adorable humour. Sometimes just looking at you guys makes me want to giggle..hihi... You might have heard things about me from the other friends or seniors (=.=)", well, it's better to ask me for the confirmation. Sometimes, they make things up..huhu...

To my 2008 batch,
There are many things you guys have done and said. I must say that you are inspiring and motivating..each of you. (tp jgn prasan lbih2 k. xD) Sorry for any misunderstandings or hardship I've caused. Never meant to. Together we give each other headaches sometimes, ok? Wish us all luck in what we do. You're all great friends. Continue to be so. ;)

To the friends I've lost contact with,
Primary school friends, secondary school friends, matriculation friends, childhood friends...I'm sorry to those I haven't contacted for quite some time. You guys pn satu, napa tk call/ msj?? But just know that I haven't forgotten about any of you. Might have forgotten your home addresses, might have forgotten your hobbies, might have forgotten your favourite colours...but I still remember knowing you. So..do stay in touch whenever you can.

To my buddies (you know who you are :D),
Thanks for your guidance and support. It's good to have you guys as examples..like my own big sisters and brothers. Sorry when I missed on greeting you or saying 'hi'. Kdg2 tk nmpk bh. Dh la bingung jg kdg2. By the way, we have an amazing line of buddies, don't we? ;) (Yg lain jgn jeles..haha...)

To my Unifruit gang,
We're now getting busier each day, ne? Gomen nasai for not being able to hang out with you guys sometimes. Demo ne..I do think of you all every now and then. And you guys are like my major source of laughter. Domo arigatou! Sorry for giving you any tension..huhu... Well, I'm only a phone call or sms away if you need me. Stay cute!

To ...,
Thanks k for everything! You're so sweet. Appreciate it very much. Keep on lighting the days and nights of those you know (especially me ^^). And sorry for...well, the uncertainties I've brought. I can be indecisive but never meant to. If only I could be more straight-to-the-point but.....it's my bad. I guess it should be enough to just know what you already know. ;)

To the other friends...
Rilek la if you're not specially mentioned above. You guys lg la special caranya klo mau..sy send cards and gifts lg. But only upon request..haha... Thanks also for being around, wherever you are. You guys made me the way I am. Arigatou!

Wish everyone best of luck in things they do! Gb n tc..

Lately...

Don't know exactly why but things have been tough these days. They have been so for weeks. I kept telling myself that they'll fade away as time went by but...noooo..they didn't. The real problem is..there have been more than just one problem coming back to back. (Suratan atau kebetulan..cewah...) It's like a marathon..or a triathlon..or whatever you call it. It came to a point that one of my pals (^^) told me that I've lost the 'light' I used to have. (Nmpk kurg bercahaya bh mksudnya.) I really miss the old me. What happened to her?? And this is also one of the reasons I had not been updating my blog. Huhu...sorry about that. Will do better next time, after this.

But you know what...thanks to all my friends, I'm going through each day anyway just to move along. Things will get better. Let's all hope so. So, I just want to say sorry if I've causing any worries or confusion to any of you. You know I never meant to. Poor you guys.

Love you all and thanks for everything! God bless..

The outside may complement the inside

*taking a deep (hopefully) cleansing breath*

Sometimes, when there's some sort of pain or discomfort deep in us (like our heart), it will project through our body and show on the outside (Means some sort of pain or discomfort just so happens to come around physically.) Gosh..I have no clue how to explain it more clearly. Just want to say it out. But for better or for worse, life is good...

God bless!!! ^^

Confessions of a Girl Named Pris

Especially for my friends, family, relatives, acquaintances etc....

Now, I am aware that I haven't exactly been in my prime moments lately. Things may not seem to turn out right at times and I may need to let go of some stuff...but believe it or not..I'm perfectly fine with all that. Strange enough, I feel that it's all meant to be for certain reasons. It might seem terrible to some, yet it can also be motivating to some others. So, why don't we see the glass as half full, shall we? ;)

Alright then, in order to set things straight and let out whatever it is that may be bothering me regarding people's thoughts and my own perceptions, I'm going to give my comments about specific situations that have been happening since early this year. So, let's pretend that I'm being interviewed about my life. And to keep it interesting and mysterious enough (because you might not know what incident or event I'll be referring to), I'll just make them into quotes. One thing for sure is, they all come from me and I just need you to listen (or read, actually =D) so that life can just move on. Please be reminded that some of them may relate to each other in a way but some are completely separated matters. The reason I'm not stating exactly what each quote is about is to protect my own confidentiality (Ceh...^^).

Here I go. Just randomly...

-------------

"I know it may seem like the ultimate bad news to some but I'm fine with it now. What will be, will be. Things really do happen for their own reasons, you know. So, let's just suck it up and go with it!"

-------------

"What more can I say? I just enjoy doing what I've been doing so far. No one can stop me, no one should. I mean, it's not that I've done anything illegal or something. I'm not lying when I say that I don't regret a single thing."

-------------

"Don't blindly believe what you hear because after being passed on from one person to another, the fact tends to lose part of its believability. I'm not denying anything, nor am I confirming it..I'm just saying that you should do your own little 'homework' before deciding to believe it. ;) "

-------------

"It's no big deal! I did it for the fun of it and to know how it would feel like. And it was quite an experience. It wasn't so bad for a freshie."

-------------

"It's not that I don't want to. It's just...how? I mean, to talk about it is one thing but it won't just happen in a snap, now, will it? ;) "

-------------

"I do things in my own pace, okay. It's not that I won't get it done at all. Chill..."

-------------

"I thought it's a good thing to want to explore things in life. It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Besides, it'll only last for less than two 'freaking' months."

-------------

So, there you go! In case you want to know a little bit more on any of those quoted comments of mine, you can always ask. I just want to make things clear. But don't get upset or anything if I tend to beat around the bush. You know me...

Thanks for your time.

P/S: I'm doing this particular post not because I'm having a breakdown or something. It's also not because I'm moving to another country soon. It's just to clarify some stuff. Plus, it's fun!
